Scuderia scores a hat-trick at The Valley, taking out her third heat in a row this season in the 55 Second Challenge Series.
Scuderia, the talented daughter of Squamosa, has once again showcased her speed and consistency in the 55 Second Challenge Series.
Trainer Tommy Carberry was full of admiration for Scuderia: "She's just a naturally very fast horse, she just enjoys this kind of racing over the short course," he said. "She just likes getting it done, she really gets into it, she travels so comfortably, and she has that kick as well at the finish … it's all there."
Jockey Declan Bates said she makes his job very easy: "She's good for the bank account," he joked. "I just turn up, steer her in the right direction and get the money. But nah, she's just a little rocket, super job by Tommy to just produce her in perfect form each time, the right amount of freshness. She was a little bit of a handful pre-race today, she was ready to go! But like I said, Tommy's doing an amazing job with her … I just sit and steer."
